- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Gently clean figs, remove stem, and slice each in half lengthwise.
- Stack cheese pieces on each half fig. Add walnut or pecan if you want.
- Wrap fig and gorgonzola with thinly sliced prosciutto all the way around.
- Arrange on baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes.
- Cheese should be soft and the prosciutto has begun to crisp.
- Optional: drizzle with honey, aged balsamic vinegar or balsamic reduction.
