Wagyu Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of high-quality Wagyu or Kobe beef
  • Salt and pepper
  • Sharp cheddar or provolone cheese slices
  • Hawaiian rolls

1Step 1

Form the beef into small patties, approximately 1.5-2 inches in diameter. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

2Step 2

Fire up a grill to medium-hot heat. Use olive oil to grease the grates and place the patties directly on the heat. Cook for two minutes and flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes. You want the patties to be firm, but be careful to not overcook as you will lose some of the meat quality.

3Step 3

Remove the patties and place the choice of cheese on the desired parties. Cover with tin foil and let sit.

Place the buns cut side down on the edges of the grill to lightly toast. Remove, add the pattie, and stick a long toothpick through the buns and patty.
