Our Bordeaux blend, Le Meilleur du Chai, and Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons from Stice Lane and Atlas Peak are always considered some of the finest wines crafted in the Napa Valley. Today we are thrilled to announce that Wine Enthusiast has recognized that and awarded the following scores t the 2017 vintage of these extraordinary wines.
2017 Le Meilleur du Chai – 94 points and Editors’ choice
Gorgeous aromas of ripe fruit and spicy oak gets this full-bodied wine off to a great start. Rich, generous black cherries and blueberries, plus mint, cedar and vanilla nuances kick in on the palate and linger on the finish. Well-integrated tannins help make the wine approachable now. 2017 Stice Lane Cabernet Sauvignon – 94 points
This opulent, chocolaty wine offers deep blackberry, blueberry and cassis flavors wrapped in fine-grained tannins for a supple mouthfeel. Dark-chocolate flavors build on the palate and linger on the finish. While full bodied, the wine is not heavy. It can be drunk soon or cellared through at least 2028. – J.G.
2017 Atlas Peak Cabernet Sauvignon – 92 points
This deeply fruity, friendly, black cherry- and cinnamon-scented wine shapes rich fruit flavors with moderate tannins for a lightly gripping texture. Well-balanced, it is made for drinking now through 2028. – J.G.

The 2017 vintage of these wines were released on allocation earlier this year. The 2018 vintage will be released in March 2023 through opportunities to secure your bottles through a pre-release window that will open this fall.
